John Youngs completed the construction of new dwellings at Lynn Road, Ely adjacent a Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust.
The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) is the UK leading charity offering specialist assessment and rehabilitation services for people suffering a disability as a result of brain injury, including traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke and other forms of acquired brain injury.
Groundforce Day
The gardens of the centre were in need of some attention so in order to assist with making them more approachable, a “Groundforce Day” was held.
Staff from John Youngs, joined other local volunteers working with service users and staff to create a garden for visitors and families to enjoy.
Staff from the Trust were overjoyed by the success of the day.
“The challenge not only brought together the Ely community but also people and companies from Cambridgeshire and Norfolk Everyone was working together with one goal in mind, to create a small garden haven at Fen House. Said Cas Anderson-Dix, Rehabilitation coordinator.
