Waste materials from the Hawkmoth ‘Grow-on’ Building project at Norwich Research Park, have been donated to City College Norwich for their trade apprentices to use in the new Construction Centre.
Our team arrived in their red Carter branded flat-bed truck to meet with Lisa Taylor – Head of Employer Relationships and staff from the Centre, delivering a variety of useful items for reuse.
Materials such as levelling screed, floor grout, expansion foam, washers and fixings, and half pallet of leftover engineering bricks, from subcontractors on site, will all now be put to best use by the Carpentry, Plumbing and Electrical students in the centre.
The Construction Centre sits adjacent to the award winning Digi-Tech Factory (seen in the background), which was delivered by the Firm in 2021.
