The historic restoration on the Grade 1 listed Wilkins’ Building at King’s College Cambridge, is now getting very close to completion. The haki roof has now been removed on this 19th century Dining Hall, to fully expose the wonderful craftsmanship of the newly laid grey Welsh slate and restored window lanterns.

This image shows some of the 64 new solar panels that have been installed on the South side of the roof, which create a solar output of 21KW at their peak and will support the University’s sustainable energy vision.
