We are delighted to have completed the new Digital Aviation and Research Technology Centre (DARTeC) building at Cranfield University. This world-leading facility provides a central building that contains a suite of digital aviation research laboratories and a unique ‘hangar laboratory’ which will be connected to Cranfield’s 737-400 aircraft through an airport-style air bridge.
Its futuristic design creates a stunning addition to the Cranfield skyline and was constructed with almost 300 tonnes of structural steel!
We are extremely proud to have been able to support the University’s vision through the delivery of DARTeC, which will provide ground-breaking research into emergent technologies within the aviation industry.
