Students from the current Inspire Suffolk Step Up into Construction course visited the Sir Bobby Robson Academy in Ipswich last week, receiving an introduction to project progress so far as well as a site tour.
Site Manager, Luke Coster-Reeve and Assistant Site Manager, Jacob Squirrell gave a brief progress presentation showing the future construction professionals images of some of the site activities that have taken place. Following a site induction, Luke and Jacob led a tour of the SIP panel timber frame to give the students an idea of the types of trades required to bring a building such as this together.
Inspire Suffolk Step Up courses aim to provide young people the opportunity to gain industry-related training and qualifications required as a stepping stone into employment.
