Just over a year after the cladding refurbishment project first started on site at Orwell Quay in Ipswich, the first apartments have now been completed. The grand reveal as the fire-retardant heras and scaffolding was gradually struck around all four façades, was a great moment for the team, who were pleased to be able to hand back keys to the residents for access to their balconies and views of the river.
The team have been striking the scaffolding on the second apartment block in this phase to complete all 123 properties, and also have started to erect scaffolding on the first of three apartment blocks in Phase 2 of this external cladding project.
