Oakhill Lawn crematorium has now been handed over to Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council; a new bereavement complex located in the grounds of the existing Hatfield cemetery. Set in flower and water gardens, and green landscaping, it provides attractive and tranquil surroundings for its visitors, and has been designed to respect the dignity of the occasion.
A stunning feature of the centre is the multi-denominational chapel. The striking glulam beam structure has exposed oversized roof beams and wooden cladding to create a calm and comfortable space for services to take place.
Congratulations to everyone involved in the delivery of this project which will be officially opened next month.
