Background

R G Carter is looking for a Business Administrator to provide administration support within our Thetford & Bury St Edmunds office. This is a full-time onsite office position.

The ideal candidate is to have a strong work ethic with a positive “can do” attitude and good organisational skills and the ability to work within a team and independently once fully trained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dealing with email enquiries in a prompt & efficient manner
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Electronic filing and scanning
  • Admin support for our business systems team
  • Collating and organising documents
  • Assisting with the review of policies and procedure documents and the dissemination of these documents
  • Assist in audit of internal management system.

Key Skills & Knowledge

  • Good communication skills
  • Reasonable computer skills on Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to manage large volume of emails.
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Know how to prioritise workload
  • Full training will be given

    You will work toward completion of a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship the duration of this is one and half years. Your continued employment will be dependent upon successful and timely completion of the apprenticeship.

    Entry requirements for this apprenticeship are a minimum of 4 GCSE’s to include Maths and English grade C or above or 4/5 (new grading).
