Group Sustainability Advisor

Background
As the Group Sustainability Advisor, you will be joining our business at an important time within our sustainability journey.
You will be supporting delivery of the Firms Sustainability Plan, ensuring our long-term goals are embedded into all business activities and project stages.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape our co-ordinate our Sustainability Plan.

Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of the Firms Sustainability Plan through interfacing with business support teams.
- Data collection analysis and reporting.
- Contribute to the development of sustainability assessment tools and dashboards.
- Collaborating with third party certifiers.
- Auditing of sustainability data.
- Monitor and report on sustainability legislation and compliance.
- Assist with setting and achieving targets for environmental impact.
- Support the production of case studies that demonstrate effective sustainability outcomes.
- Help operations teams to reduce their emissions by transferring “good Practice” & “innovation”.
- Promote carbon focus and innovation to drive projects on the path to our Net Zero Roadmap.
- Train Team Members on Sustainability through engagement.
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to work as part of a team and independently.
- Be passionate about Sustainability and the Environment.
- Knowledge of current legislation and reporting requirements including SECR, ESOS and PPN 06/21 would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of SBTi requirements would be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of BRE Smartwaste would be advantageous.
- Have good time management and organisational skills.
Experience
- We are keen to speak with both passionate experienced and newly qualified candidates.
- A degree qualification or similar in sustainability, environment, construction, or business management would be advantageous but is not essential.
