The R G Carter Academy

An apprenticeship with R G Carter is different. One of the reasons apprentices decide to train with us is because of the quality of our in-house, accredited college – the R G Carter Academy – that helps us provide the right balance of theory, practical skills and on-site experience. At the R G Carter Academy you will be taught by expert professionals who will use their vast experience of teaching and working on site to support you every step of the way and our course covers everything from theory to the practical skills you will need. Working on real sites, you will be mentored by our own professional and experienced staff, who will work closely with you to support your training and development.

Every step of the way I was given all the support I needed from the tutors at the academy and team members out on site. Throughout my apprenticeship I was consistently challenged to develop new skills and push myself further.

Shane, Carpenter

My apprenticeship at R G Carter has given me the perfect mix of theory and practical experience. Being able to put these skills to test on some of the most exciting building projects in the region has been rewarding and really helped improve my bricklaying skills.
