Civic Trust Awards results

The Alison Richard Building, the University of Cambridge’s new humanities building, and Jarrold Bridge, a J-shaped pedestrian bridge across the River Wensum in Norwich, have received recognition at the Civic Trust Awards 2013.

Both were constructed by R G Carter and received high praise from the Civic Trust judges. The Alison Richard Building was given a commendation, with the judges noting that the ‘project has been well received by the local and academic community as well as visitors from around the world’. Jarrold Bridge received an award and the judges called it a ‘striking addition to the Norwich river scene’.
