King’s Lynn Macmillan Centre re-opens

Staff and patients have now moved back into the Macmillan Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn, after extension and refurbishment work was completed by R G Carter to create a more comfortable environment.

The R G Carter team constructed a 45-square-metre extension that now provides more space for chemotherapy patients with the capacity to hold an increased number of treatment stations.

The centre will be officially opened by the chief executive of Macmillan Cancer, Ciaran Devane, in March 2013.
