Topping Out Ceremony at Sheringham Community Centre

We have reached a landmark stage in the construction of Sheringham’s community centre, with the roof being put in place early in September. To mark the occasion, local Poppyland beer was poured on the roof at the topping out ceremony.

Construction of the centre is part of a wider project, which has already seen the completion of a new fire station and will include the construction of a local Tesco store.

The two-storey community centre is due to open in October 2012 and will feature two fully equipped kitchens and six halls, as well as underfloor heating and air conditioning.
