Kirkley Mill Health Centre has had, since the start of January, a gradual refresh and reconfiguration to its facility. Working for East Coast Community Healthcare, the Building Solutions team from R G Carter will complete 12 rooms, a mix of consultancy and examination, plus the first floor reception. All these spaces will be redecorated, with new doors and skirtings installed and the spaces adapted for a different use.
A three stage project, the first has now been completed which required a juggle of staff location, with the GPs moving to the top floor whilst work took place downstairs. The largest stage has now started and will form the bulk of the work to completion due the middle of March.
