At Weavers Court in Halstead, we have handed over the first ever Tesco store for this Essex based town. Works for the new Superstore took 14 weeks, which was formerly occupied by East of England Co-op.
Members of the team attended the official opening to a very excited local community as they entered their new store.
The team undertook demolition and structural work, and reconfigured and rebranded the store and car park, to fit Tesco’s specifications and guidelines. The store was completely refitted with new refrigeration, freezers, counters and checkouts, and contains an F&F clothing section, a bakery, click and collect services and an in-store Well+ pharmacy.
