Negotiating icy country roads after the Christmas break, a two-man team from R G Carter were one of several volunteer crews who helped collect Christmas trees from over 40 residents in North Norfolk as part of Break charity’s ‘Recycle your Tree’ initiative.
In partnership with the Just Helping Charity this fundraising activity for the children’s care charity, provided residents the pick-up service of their trees after the twelfth night, for a fee.
Taking the hassle out of disposing of a real Christmas tree, the trees were collected from people’s homes, chopped up and all delivered to Bircham Mill to be shredded.
Well done to all the teams that ventured the cold new year temperatures to help support this amazing cause.
