At the Hawkmoth ‘Grow-On’ Building at Norwich Research Park, our team hosted an educational tour and talk led for 15 HNC students studying at City College Norwich. Four of our own apprentices also joined the session, two of which have been working on the works themselves, across design and porject management.
All of the students are apprentices, completing a day a week across three different HNC courses; Construction Management (Construction Design and Build Technician), Construction Management (Construction Site Supervisor) and Civil Engineering Senior Technician.
It was great to welcome CCN on this visit, and to support all of the students’ on going education and future development. Visiting a site such as the Hawkmoth Building enables them to learn about different building methods (such as the concrete framework currently being delivered on this site), new materials and processes, and put theory into practice.
