R G Carter are proud to have successfully completed the first Primark project of the year, delivering a comprehensive refurbishment of the Primark store in Peterborough.

The store is prominently located within the Queensgate Shopping Centre, a key retail destination in the region.

The refurbishment project, completed over an accelerated seven-week programme, encompassed a full upgrade of the store’s interior across its two levels of sales floor, alongside an additional level dedicated to staff facilities. The works were carefully phased to ensure efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key elements of the project included the installation of new flooring throughout the sales areas, updated perimeter wall panels, and the complete refurbishment of fitting rooms and cash desk zones to enhance the overall customer experience. In addition, significant improvements were made to the staff areas, including the introduction of a new multi-faith room and foot wash facilities, reflecting a strong commitment to inclusivity and employee well-being.
