Inspiring Careers for SEND Pupils

Heltwate School recently hosted its SEND PTS Festival at the Nene Valley Community Centre in Peterborough, bringing together local organisations to inspire pupils and showcase future career opportunities. The event gave young people the chance to explore different career paths, meet local employers and gain confidence in thinking about their next steps.

Representing R G Carter, Martin Randall spoke with students about careers in construction and the wide range of opportunities available within the industry. Businesses, community organisations and blue-light services also attended, helping to create an engaging and eye-opening experience for pupils and their families.

R G Carter is delighted to continue its support for Heltwate School, having delivered the Jubilee Building in 2023. Assistant Head Teacher Sam England, pictured with Martin, expressed her gratitude, saying: “We were blown away by your support for our careers event.”
