Primark Store Refurbishment
Building on its continued partnership with Primark, R G Carter has successfully completed its second Primark project of the year, delivering the comprehensive Primark Harlow refurbishment of the retailer’s store.
The store is located within the heart of Harlow shopping area with an entrance through the Harvey Shopping Centre, forming a key part of the wider Primark Harlow refurbishment programme.
The refurbishment project, completed over an accelerated seven‑week programme, encompassed a full upgrade of the store’s interior across its two levels of sales floor, alongside an additional level dedicated to staff facilities. The works were carefully phased to ensure efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key elements of the project included the installation of new flooring throughout the sales areas, updated perimeter wall panels, and the complete refurbishment of fitting rooms and cash desk zones to enhance the overall customer experience.
The fitting rooms required in‑depth phasing due to the existing layout, including new ceilings installed within the live changing‑room environment.
In addition, significant improvements were made to the staff areas, including the introduction of a new multi‑faith room and foot‑wash facilities.
The store, which has an entrance at both ends, received an update to the signage and a full decoration package as part of the wider Primark Harlow refurbishment delivered by R G Carter.
