At Premier Inn Eastbourne, our team have been building relations with the organisation UK Men’s Sheds Association over the last year whilst working on a conversion and new annex building for this hotel.
Finding this local Uckfield club on their doorstep was an ideal partnership, enabling them to donate rather than skip, any off cuts or unused timber from the structure build and other areas of the project. Using their own workshop, the club members create practical items such as sheds, ornaments and art.
Men’s Shed supports men’s mental health and wellbeing, helping them to meet and learn new skills, create social connections and avoid isolation.
