The University of East Anglia has celebrated a significant phase in the construction of their new STEM building with a ‘topping out’ ceremony.
To mark this important milestone in the project, the university’s Vice Chancellor Neil Ward and staff joined representatives from R G Carter and FBM architects for the topping out on the roof of the building where Mr Ward tightened the last bolt before signing the steel frame.
Attendees then had a tour of the building, led by Senior Project Manager Neil Wilson from the UEA.
