R G Carter completes two-storey extension at Cranfield University
R G Carter has completed a two-storey extension to The Vincent Building at Cranfield University, creating specialist facilities to support hydrogen research, innovation and collaboration. The scheme forms part of Cranfield University’s Hydrogen Integration Incubator programme.
The striking new building features a distinctive cantilevered design, extensive glazing designed and installed by Drayton Windows, and black and lime green rain-screen cladding. Inside, the facility provides advanced laboratory space for materials synthesis and hydrogen technology testing, alongside a dedicated innovation area for demonstration, and offices.
Eyre Group designed and installed all of the building’s mechanical, electrical and public health services, helping to create a highly serviced environment for advanced research and innovation.
Congratulations to everyone involved in delivering this exceptional, state of the art research facility, marking R G Carter’s sixth completed project at the University in the past decade.
