Vosler Hall at RAF Molesworth

R G Carter were honoured to have been appointed to complete the refurbishment of Vosler Hall at RAF Molesworth via a direct award. The team were extremely proud to work on this building where the US Military maintain the legacy of TSGT (Technical Sergeant) Forrest L. Vosler of the 303d Bomb Group, a Radio Operator in World War II who flew from RAF Molesworth. The plaque mounted on Vosler Hall records his bravery and award of the ‘Medal of Honor’. The building was officially opened in January 2024 by US delegates in celebrations of Vosler’s heroics.

The refurbishment took 22-weeks to complete and included new HVAC systems, a new ceiling, decoration works, new server counter and associated works to upgrade the access and egress areas as well external paving works to help with disabled access.

Vosler Hall has provided a modern restaurant and is a vital engine room to the staff on base and used to hold events, conferences and give the staff on the base a place to relax and unwind.
On this project we worked closely with USVF and DIO to ensure we worked within the strict site protocols that were in place, ensuring safety and security of the operations and that day-to-day work base activities were not affected by the construction works.
