Fourteen of our new apprentices from R G Carter Construction, Carter Design Group and Eyre Group came together at the McGregor Building at the Royal Norfolk Showground for a welcome event hosted by the R G Carter Academy team.
The event featured presentations from managers and directors across the Group, including Health & Safety, Marketing and Communications and CIMS, providing an introduction to the business, its values and their apprenticeship programme.
Apprentices also took part in interactive team-building activities, including a bomb defusal challenge designed to test communication and teamwork. To round off the day, CDG led a bridge-building competition, with teams using paper, string and Sellotape to construct the strongest structure.
The event was a great way to welcome our new apprentice cohort, help them build new connections, learn more about the business.
