There are various types of care provision that exist, and we are experienced in designing buildings, rooms and spaces to support individuals with varying needs to feel at home.
RESIDENTIAL AND NURSING CARE
Residential care focuses on personal assistance with daily tasks for people who don’t need frequent medical treatment, while nursing care offers specialised medical support from qualified nurses for individuals with complex or chronic health conditions. Nursing homes are equipped with medical facilities and staff, providing 24/7 medical care, whereas residential homes provide support with personal care and daily routines but without the 24/7 medical supervision found in nursing facilities.
INDEPENDENT & ASSISTED LIVING
Independent living is designed for active, self-sufficient seniors who require minimal to no help with daily living, focusing on social opportunities and amenities and assisted living offers independence with the option for occasional support, including help with personal care, medication management, housekeeping, and meals.
SPECIALIST CARE INCLUDING DEMENTIA CARE
Dementia care homes are important because they offer 24-hour specialist care and a safe and supportive environment where spaces are designed to reduce confusion, and opportunities for social engagement and stimulation. They provide consistency and personalised bed spaces, helping to maintain residents’ well-being, dignity, and a sense of fulfilment in a secure setting.
