The R G Carter team on the 27th August, were delighted to host a topping out ceremony of the new research facility for South Norfolk Council (SNC) at Norwich Research Park (NRP). This gathering of stakeholders including members of SNC, New Anglia LEP and Architects Feilden & Mawson, and marked the progress being made on the development.
James Carter welcomed guests to the project, explaining the history of ‘topping outs’ and the importance of getting together safely on site during these challenging times. John Fuller, Leader of South Norfolk Council and Chris Starkie, CEO of New Anglia, also made speeches on the benefits of the new building. The event was completed with the traditional beer pouring on the recently completed roof.
This is the team’s second state-of-the art research building at NRP and so a wonderful occasion to celebrate another state-of-the-art provision which we will help provide for future
